5 Logo Printing Methods for Premium Gifts

Set Your Printing Apart

What sets Gift Asia apart from other gift supply companies is that we know what it takes to make a gift premium. Outside of the gift itself, the printed quality of your company’s logo should also be a top priority. Your company’s logo needs to be visually striking, durable, and memorable to the person receiving their premium gift.

As experts in premium gifting, we use five different logo printing methods that span an array of premium gift products.

1.     Pad Printing

Pad Printing is Gift Asia’s most common form of logo printing. We use ink-filled etched images of company logos to print premium gifts made from plastic, glass, metal, and wood. A company’s logo is transferred inside a printing plate by silicon which then effortlessly takes the form of whatever premium gift needs printing. The company logo is not distorted during the process and will last as long as the gift itself.

2.     Silkscreen Printing

At Gift Asia, we use Silkscreen Printing predominantly on our bag and apparel premium gifts. The Silkscreen process involves the stencilling of a company’s logo onto our premium gifts. A screen of tight mesh is stretched over the gift which blocks certain areas. The areas that are not blocked are where the ink is pulled through using a scraping tool called a squeegee.

3.     Full Color UV Printing

This is Gift Asia’s most unique printing method. Using ultraviolet (UV) lights, this printing method helps dry ink as soon as it is transferred onto one of our premium gifts. Instead of using liquid ink, UV printing makes use of a dual-state substance which presents as a liquid until exposure to UV light. This method of logo printing is quick, prints logos in sharp high definition detail, has the lowest impact on the environment, and dries instantly to ensure no smudging or abrasions.

4.     Deboss and Emboss Printing

Although this technically refers to two types of printing, Deboss and Emboss logo printing are simply two sides of the same coin. Deboss Printing is where an indent is created in the material of a company’s premium gift. Without the initial use of ink, Debossing is similar to a stamp in which a depression is made in the print of a logo. Ink can be applied once the press is complete to add color and dimension should the logo require it. Emboss Printing is the opposite of Deboss, whereby a logo is raised rather than depressed which makes it bevel outwards from the premium gift’s material.

5.     Laser Engraving

Gift Asia’s Laser Engraving requires no consumables such as ink. Laser Engraving is a process that involves a premium gift’s surface being vaporised to leave a permanent and sleek carving of a company’s logo. In this method, the laser works as a precision chisel to print your logo carefully and accurately onto one of our premium products.

No matter what material a company’s premium gift takes, we have the logo printing option needed to ensure that the logo is not only clearly visible, but will persist as long as the gift does too.
